We are registered with Ofsted reg no 117177 and are registered to take up to 44 children per pre-school session and up to 44 children per session for Woodies out of School Club

Session times

  • Breakfast Club 08.00-09.00, available at a cost of £3.50, sibling discount available
  • Pre-school 09:00-11:45 £8.25 & 12:45-15:15, at a cost of £3.00 per hour if a child is not government funded
  • Lunch Club 11.45-12.45 is available at a cost of £3.00 per day
  • After School Club 15.15 - 1800 at a cost £4.00 - 15.15 - 14.30, £7.00 - 15.15 - 17.30, £8.50 - 15.15 - 18.00, sibling discount available
  • Woodies Holiday Club 0800-1800 during school holidays, non pupil days (except bank holidays and the days between Christmas and New Year)

Funding

If your employer participates in the child care voucher scheme, we accept these childcare vouchers electronically or in a paper format. Please ask the Business Manager for more information.

The government funds local authorities to ensure a free part-time early education place is available for every three and four year old in settings that have been inspected by Ofsted and found satisfactory in terms of quality in England.

Three and four year old children are entitled to free early years education, comprising 15 Hours per week for 38 weeks of the year. Parents do not contribute towards this minimum entitlement but may be charged fees for any services or childcare that is additional to the free place.

Free places can be provided by a variety of providers in the maintained, private, voluntary and independent sectors including registered childminder networks.

All children, are entitled to up to 2 years of free early education before reaching statutory school age (the first term following their fifth birthday from 1 September, 1 January or 1 April following their 3rd birthday. Depending on local arrangements for admission to school, many children start full time education in school reception classes before reaching compulsory school age.

Children born between 1 April and 31 August (inclusive) will be eligible to a free place from 1 September following their third birthday.

Children born between 1 September and 31 December (inclusive) will be eligible to a free place 1 January following their third birthday.

Children born between 1 January and 31 March (inclusive) will be eligible to a free place 1 April following their third birthday.

The setting supports children with learning difficulties and disabilities and those who have English as an additional language.
