We appreciate that children potty train at different ages. We aim to support this process by liaising with you and where possible adopting the same procedures eg rewards, star charts etc. Children are welcome to our setting when still in nappies, all we request is that supplies of nappies, baby wipes, spare clothes etc are provided.
We are committed to the Early Years Foundation Scheme. This is a nationwide scheme which puts the needs of the child first and the activities and resources reflect the interests of the children. The planning of weekly activities is taken from observations of the children at play. For example if your child shows an interest in painting we will ensure that this activity is available for them. Children learn in different ways and at different rates, our routines and planning ensure that the children will develop and are stimulated at the appropriate rate.
