NEWSLETTER APRIL 2011
We said good bye to Mrs Lorraine Jones recently. Lorraine had worked for the pre school for seventeen years and contributed greatly to our great reputation. We are sure you join us in wishing her well for the future.
As a result the pre school has had an internal re structure and we would like to congratulate Lorraine Hart who has been appointed Deputy Manager, looking after the portacabin and Terri Jones , Deputy Manager for the bungalow.
As you know the pre school is a charity and run by a team of dedicated parents. If you would like to hear more about the committee and are interested in joining please come along to the next meeting – Tuesday 10 May @ 7.30pm in the bungalow. The committee recently organised our first “ disco “ and I am sure you will agree it was a fun occasion and all the children looked wonderful.
The Market Gardens are developing nicely and we would like to thank parents for their donations of plants and compost as well participating in the quiz which raised £100 for garden equipment.
We would like to thank you for attending the recent Key Worker appointments, which we hope you find helpful, informative and rewarding. Please be aware of our open door policy and if you were unable to make an appointment then your child’s Key Worker can arrange to see you at a time that suits you better.

Please can we request once again that coats, drinks bottles, lunch bags and ruck sacks have your childs name CLEARLY marked on them in order to ensure the correct items go home, thank you.
As we look forward to some warmer weather we would also like to remind everyone to put ice packs in lunch boxes in order to keep the food as cool as possible.
And finally….. The Plum Tree Centre next door to the bungalow offers a range of support and facilities, as well as running parent and baby/toddler groups. Please make use of this wonderful facility. Telephone number 283826
